Hey Everyone,
Found out that for wheel to wheel racing the roof latches are not allowed. Does anyone have any good ideas here. Also seen some targas tops have been "vented". My window are gone and it would make sense to let the air out. All help is appreciated. Thanks Shane |

FWIW I have a Rennspeed (I think) fiberglass skin lid which is mounted via dzus fasteners (no factory latches) in roughly the spots where the original latches go. The rear brackets are crude but along the lines of the Tangerine ones shown.
I recently lifted the back edge slightly higher to reduce squeaking and add a little more airflow thru the cabin. In hindsight this setup doesn't save that much weight vs. a significant amount of custom fabrication, but #becauseracecar ... I can snap a few updated pics if helpful. |
