Hi,
I ordered a clutch cable for my 75 914 from a local shop. When I went to pick it up the lable says it is for a 911 turbo. The part# is 914 423 401 05 although. The cable is very thick (about twice my original) but as far as I can tell the part# is right??? Any Ideas. IS this the right one??? Thanks, Dave |

There is an oem cable in my car at Brad's shop.
If he reads this and gets it, thee is surely a part # on it somewhere. |

I dunno what's going on with labeling these days. I saw a 924 head gasket kit at the shop and it said, plain as day, "Renault." Huh? I can't imagine a Renault engine being so similar to the ol' Audi puker they put in the 924 that they share a gasket kit.

So, is that part number the correct one? For a 914-6, too? I'd like to purchase a spare to carry with me. Had a bad experience on I-70 in Indiana with a 911 one time.

They just WISH that the 930 was half the car that a 914 is.
