question regarding a 1971 1.7L engine and using it's parts in a 1973 1.7L?

Maybe the better way to ask is, what parts are not interchangeable?

tins, blower motor, etc........

tks

As long as you have the pressure sensor and control unit, it's a drop in. If you have the complete FI setup for the '73, you can swap it onto the '71 engine. '73s have a breather system on the heads, '71s don't. You can live without it.
