Compact Dual Axle Race Car Trailer
Heavy duty custom built trailer has four load range D wheels and tires and is designed so that the car sits on top of the wheels (instead of in between them). This makes for a very narrow compact trailer that can fit in your garage or other tight places. The trailer is 67 inches wide, has a 13 feet 1 inch “bed” length and is 16 feet 2 inches overall length. The “bed” height is 17 inches off the ground. Originally designed for a Porsche 914, the trailer is suitable for most import sports cars and such format cars. Comes complete with 4 tie-down ratchet straps, spare wheel/tire, extendable steel ramps, spare race wheel/tire carrying post, and tongue post with dual swivel wheel. Trailer is not fitted with brakes, but comes with some brake parts. I have stopped racing. $1200. OBO. marankie@sbcglobal.net Martin Jansen, Agoura Hills CA 91301, 818-889-3583. Leave message |

Just a note for those in CA - any trailer over 1500 lbs. must have brakes (empty &/or as loaded), and the 914's are typically over 2000# alone (others check your state's laws).
So you'll have to install Martin's brake kit/parts to use it for towing anything, but it may be legal to tow home without the brakes if the empty weight is under 1500#. Nice idea to keep the trailer narrow and using only a slight bump up for the wheels/fenders BTW! (IMG:style_emoticons/default/smile.gif) Good Luck!
