Kevin Ginnette [Gunnar Racing] owns a few I think and is or may buy one of those pink Mary Kay 914's [for his wife?] I'm building some of the Newman Fabcars for him [1/43 models that is]

I will see Bill today...want a story?

Mr. Newman isn't just a famous actor who stumbles around a race track. He won the national championship in his class a number of years back. He's older now, but was the real deal as a race driver.

I was at an endurance race a few years ago at Sebring and Paul Newman was co-driving a car with Scott Sharp and Tommy Kendall and Newman's lap times were only a second or 2 slower than his co-drivers. And Paul was in his 70's!! (IMG:http://www.914world.com/bbs2/html/emoticons/pray.gif)

I heard John Kerry had one but than he sold it before he had it now he doesn't have one.

Dito...I was at the Daytona24 in 93 when he drove the "Flag Car" Mustang to GTS class victory. He was running similar times to TK and Mark Martin. (IMG:http://www.914world.com/bbs2/html/emoticons/smilie_pokal.gif)

Grace (Jefferson Airplane) Slick's husband (Gerry I think) had an M471 car (actually one of those on the 'official' GT list), that has now sat for 30 years in the Bay Area and is in pristine condition (but with no engine).

Hurley Haywood also drives a Brumos (orange ) M471, don't think he owns it though.
Saw him take the checkered flag by a fender from a 911 (Jurgen Barth ?) at the 50th anniv for Porsche at laguna in '98. Hurley is one of the greatest all time Porsche drivers...and a real gearhead to talk to ! (IMG:http://www.914world.com/bbs2/html/emoticons/biggrin.gif)

There was a blue '74 914 offered for sale on E Bay three years ago that supposedly had been used by George Harrison at his house in Hawaii. He did like a good car but it sounded a little iffy

I purchased and sold a 914 that had belonged to Sally Struthers when she lived in Oregon.
SHe was the daughter on All in the Family, married to the meathead, Rob Reiner.

Must have been a 73/74 with tits (IMG:style_emoticons/default/biggrin.gif) Id rather see the pictures with the teener at the mansion than the ones of Paul Newman taking out a 911 (IMG:style_emoticons/default/beerchug.gif)

Being you broke the ice on Sally there T.C., I was thinking that same thing along with that South Park episode with her and Starvin Marvin.
