Today we are going to bleed the brakes. Got any good advice. Just finished replacing struts back and front so had to pull it all off.

Thanks

only the standard/obvious:
start with the caliper farthest from the master cylinder work toward closest.
I would suggest using a human to pump the brakes; some have trouble with power bleeders; Motive pressure not so much as Minivac suction

Best money I've spent was on a Motiv. I use it on all my cars/karts including the 914.

Does the Universal Kit have the proper screw cap for the 914? Or do you have to buy a separate adapter??

Install plugs in the master cylinder outlets and pump until bubbles stop coming up into the reservoir and the pedal is 100%, absolutely rock hard. Then add in the lines one at a time and rebleed.

(IMG:style_emoticons/default/agree.gif) And if you are going to use the Motiv (and I have one and do use it) always do the old fashioned two person method at least a couple rotations and give that pedal a good stomping! (IMG:style_emoticons/default/evilgrin.gif)
