Paul and Joe, thanks for kind words. Yeah, she's 100% behind the teener thing, she really enjoys it. Her brother had one years ago, so she's no noob (IMG:style_emoticons/default/blink.gif)
I agree completely with Zach, what a poor choice to hold an event like this on Easter weekend; I too would pass next time it's held at that time. We had plans that wouldn't allow us to stay over Sat night, if we had, ya'll would have got to see the wife in not so rare form... (IMG:style_emoticons/default/beer3.gif) It did seem to be a much smaller meet than the last (and only other) time I went, two years ago. Regardless, it was a lot of fun seeing some new and old faces. John, Dan, Al and Suzanne, the Hardman, Jeff and Bo were among some of the new ones we met. And of course the good Dr. is always entertaining.... (IMG:style_emoticons/default/happy11.gif) (loving the tranny) And kudos to the couple in the room between us and Paul and his son, whoever they are.....they provided quite the auditory experience starting around 12:30 which ran for a good half hour or so...but the following 3 hrs of talk really sucked. Payback was a bitch in the morning though... Joe |

I've only done it once. My experience was the same as yours. I only had one run count - the last one I ran that day. Should get easier with practice - but then I took the car apart again.... Did you have fun though? I bet you had fun. Zach I think I can speak for everyone, yeah, tons of fun. It also was a pleasure for Linda and I to meet so many great and talented people. We will be attending next year. I will post more pics from another camera tomorrow. Thanks to our Autocross hosts. I had a great time. As a first time auto-crosser, it was an awesome, but humbling experience. Trying to spot cones while driving fast was challenging for me, to say the least. At one point on my 5th run I went off course & had folks waving flags at me. To my fellow 914 auto-crossers - well done! (IMG:style_emoticons/default/beerchug.gif) |
