hi, curious as to if this is a correct muffler for 73 1.7l?
part number is 021251053D as given by the seller... auto Atlanta has the "D" as being for a 2.0L. and "C" for 1.7L the distance measured from centers of the single hole side is 25 3/8 inches he measured and has 25 1/2 inches.. so???? tks randal Attached image(s) |

Why did Porsche change the exchanger design for the 2.0 cars? I understand the dia is slightly bigger. On the SSi replacement the dia is the same for both designs. Just wondering why they flattened out the rear bends on the 2.0 To make more power?
