I have a correct really NOS 914-6 mirror (the smaller skinnier one), obtained from Mittelmotor years ago.
The mirror silvering is a bit discolored on the edges. Does anyone know of a reputable company that can replace it without damaging the plastic frame? It's worth saving. AASE has them for about $450 new. Thanks, Q |

Here is the glass. It's yellow/discolored around the edges.
I don't really see a gasket that can be removed. It appears to be assembled and the frame heat sealed in place. I'm wondering if a mirror place cut new mirror exactly and mount the glass without f-ing up the housing.
