OK so is it true that an engine, lets say a 350 that is bored .60 over will be harder to keep cool?

yes.....in some cases you might weaken the wall enough for a failure...the blocks can be sonic tested for weak bores....

If you want to overbore that far, get an early 350 - 2 piece rear main seal with a block casting of 010.

Do not try to overbore the later (one piece rear seal) thinwall castings.
