That's a hole in the battery tray. The hell hole is/would be below that.
Not sure, but the thing you're referring to looks like the emergency brake cable sheath. there should be one like it on the drivers side. Do they go to the rear calipers? |

Crawled back under there , your correct ,but also the fuel line is right next to it as well as the filter , ( picture below ,its white box ) And the fuel line seems fine to it and exiting , but without being up on jackstands I cannot See nor acces.any higher up , or any higher then top of fuel filter . Fuel pump area correct me if I'm wrong Attached thumbnail(s) |

The pump should be on the firewall medial to/above the filter. Unless it has been moved up front or it's a '75-'76, in which case it started up front. I didn't see that you said what year it is.

Some folks don't read very well. You clearly stated that the gas is on the floor in front of the right rear tire. That doesn't equate to a leak under the tank.
Your last pic shows the very end of the pump and the white filter. Just because the hoses look ok doesn't mean anything. You must pressurize the system and visually inspect. Old hoses, especially the cloth covered one's, can seep thru the hose. I've also seen pump bodies crack and leak. Get it on jackstands or a lift and get under there while someone cranks the starter. Pull the plug wire from the coil while cranking to prevent a spark and don't put your face directly under the pump unless you like the taste of gas. Always keep an extinguisher handy when dealing with gas. |

You are close.
Jack the car up....high The wet line you have in your pic is the emergency brake cable....no fuel in that. There are two fuel lines that come out from the middle of the car, turn towards the passenger side along the rear lower firewall, then go to the fuel pump and filter in that corner. They are up high to keep them protected, so you will need to either jack up the car, or put it on ramps or a lift to repair this. |
