Hi, just getting near completion of my engine build and just discoverd my full flow oil pump exit is not clearing the engine mount. I'll post photos later but, my exit fitting is going left looking directly at the engine and will not allow the engine mount bracket to fit. Anybody experience this and have a solution? Is there a pump cover that is specific for the 914, maybe with the exit a little higher?

Thanks, Joe

Yep, typical. I usually cut off the 90 on the cover and tap the remaining hole for 3/8 NPT fitting. If you put a 90 fitting in there it will clear.

drill and tap the cover you have for 3/8th NPT fitting.

The drill and tap are typically available at any decent hardware store.
