Correct me if I am wrong but only early 73 cars had OE chrome lug bolts. About mid-year 73 they went to clear zinc lugs. Bruce Stone usually has some of the clear zinc ones.

Thank you Peter (IMG:style_emoticons/default/beerchug.gif) [/quote II I used the ones sold by Texas seller on eBay , look great have a nice ball area As to not damage wheel s , They were far from lightweight but I think there the superior product I mean think about it ,they are only holding your wheels on!!! That's cool, but do they look OEM?
I bought 73 OEM Fuchs that had been chromed, currently had fake chrome caps over the allow Fuchs lug bolts. I bought silver plated lug bolts from Bruce, unfortunately not great shape and most are pitted. Looking for a higher quality product |

WTB, Or help steering me in the right direction Looking for OEM Chromed Fuchs Lug Bolts. Thank you Peter (IMG:style_emoticons/default/beerchug.gif) The correct bolts can be hard to find, the "ball radius" of the bolt needs to fit the ball radius of the forged wheel. If you took dye like Prussian blue and applied it to the bolt alone, the dye should cover the entire inset radius or chamfer of the wheel. That way the pressure that the bolt is applying is transferred to the largest area available. If the radius is too small then only the inside edge of the bolt hole chamfer would be bearing the pressure and it would be prone to fatigue and failure. The ball radius of Fuchs is different than more common VW wheels. That being said do a search on the Samba.com. I bought some lug bolts from a guy that goes by: theadante (or something ) they have worked, they look nice but then I take crazy risks. these bolts |

Mine came with the wheelset I bought here. I just wire wheeled 'em and ran them. They look adequate.
