I got a 1974 914 with a custom (homemade) wire harness.
So nothing matches the 914 schematics.

The headlight pop motors were not hooked up.

Looks like a Red, green, Grey(or black? grease?) 3 wires...

Cant find a diagram that shows something like:

Red=+12v always on?
Green=+12 with switch only?
Grey/Black=Ground?

Anyone know what these are?

I would like to take a car battery and bench test these motors but I dont want to fry them in the process or cook the little round relays that are dangling attached to them either.

Grey and green control the up/down motion. Power on one goes up power on the other goes down. I forget which is which. Red is power all the time. Both grey and green get power through the switch that comes from the ignition on.
