2.6 Liter disassembled, unsplit case, freshly remachined twin plug heads, new exhaust valves, guides and seats, J&E pistons, Autocraft 2 stage dry sump. These are $15,000 + engines from FAT and RAT. Rabys SS 2270 engine, quoted on his website, is $15,250 + a $1500 core, is $16,750! This is a much larger, twin plug, and dry sumped 2.6. !!! I am asking $3,500 IN "as is" condition. I have over $1,000 invested in work and new parts. If desired, FAT will recondition, dyno and certify this engine for approx $2,000.00, I am 325 miles from there and can deliver the engine in a matter of 4.5 hrs driving time. And because I am moving the car south from Seattle I can (possibly) deliver the engine for free on the west coast. :-) FAT degreed crank pulley Autocraft 2 stage dry sump oil pump Six high pressure hoses for pump and sump Unknown manufacturer mini oil screen/sump Canton CM 6 inch canister anodized fuel filter with bracket Sachs PP and disc, both new JE 103 mm w/230 forge mark. Lands cleaned, and reliefs cc'd to 2cc's, pin bores honed. Cyl's deglazed, have slightest ring ridge, hardly felt by touch. Modified Nissan 720 dual plug distibutor Finned cast aluminum valve covers All engine tin (highly modified to suit the Porsche shroud) SEV Marchal alternator p/n 712 330 02 / 70 amp 14v 11 blade 911 Porsche fan and 901 106 101 5r housing Late 2.0 heads (casting 039.101.371.A) oversize valves 48mm intakes swirled, 38mm sodium filled exhaust, 59 cc chambers 2 exhaust manifolds unknown manufacture or brand there is no serial number on the case see first picture in front of oil breather tower must be replacement case, smooth not ground off..... standard parts with engine starter single mount oil filter standard type 4 oil cooler Bore is 103mm Stroke is 78mm = 2599 cc = 2.6 liter the engine has been balanced as evidence of lightening is apparent on the rods and rod bolts. I believe the ports have been matched on the intakes. (in seattle) Not shown but available (in seperate storage unit in seattle in car) Weber 45 carbs manifolds and linkage twin bosch coils on bracket possible new rocker arm feet (Porsche 911) Notice The oil system is no longer avail as a package with this engine, they were not built together, the oil system was built for a six that was also in the car. The oil system is listed in another ad. Attached thumbnail(s) Attached image(s) |

Not that I'm interested, but for $5k you need to give a lot more info including Receipts.
Personally I look at any disassembled Engine as a core & would pay accordingly no matter who might have done the work |

What was the reason that required the engine to be disassembled? lost some compression one cyl , 2 bad ex valve seats hence the total rebuild on heads, 4 new intake valves also cc"d the heads again. $500 + valves have that receipt from 1999 done by Dan Halls in Portland still in plastic, still in box. |

Fat Performance engine w/ Dry sump oil cooling sys. 2.6 Ltr disassembled, re-machined heads, new valves, guides and seats, JE pistons ,Autocraft dry sump system, with aeroquip lines to the front mounted MoCal oil cooler w/ dual oil filter. I may still have the custom aluminum oil tank. Looking for any interested buyers, if found, will go to my storage unit to drag it all out to the house for the first time in 10 years, and will photo and describe in detail if a reasonably interested party is found, thanks, These are approx $15,000 engines these days from FAT and Jake Raby ( UPDATE: just checked Rabys 2270 engine, Quoted on his website, $15,000+ $1200 core) , I will ask around $5,000 based on research and available records and dismantled condition. Its possible FAT has more documented info still based on serial number. Engine is in NW Arizona (Kingman) 90 mi south of Vegas Bump for update |

What was the mileage on the engine when disassembled and are the carbs and exhaust included? The piston skirts show little to no wear, while the condition of the the heads is of course newly rebuilt as shown, since the prior owner is deceased over ten years ago trying to tell the mileage is impossible, my interpretation of the situation is that he installed this engine and shortlly there after overheated it and cracked the exhaust seats in two cylinders, but rather than fix the motor, he pulled it and installed a six in the car shortly thereafter he fell ill and died , someone got the six out of the car and bought it from his widow or it was possibly being built or rebuilt by a shop?, when i arrived the Fat motor was in the back of the garage, the six was gone and I was offered what was left.... I never found all the exhaust for the fat motor. and I never got some of the six parts , I got a mixed bag of two different engine installations and a rusty car and a burnt valve Fat motor. |

For everything you've listed located in AZ, and everything you've listed in storage near Seattle, I'd be a buyer at $2000
