67 year old romanian woman gave birth this morning to a preemie baby girl!!!! Other record holders were two 63 year old moms, one from Italy and one from California. She'll be in her 80's when her daughter graduates.

I guess she had twins, but one was stillborn and one is amazingly alive. How is she going to be able to keep up with a toddler at that age.

I don't really see how this is a "good thing". First of all the child has an outrageously high chance of suffering from birth defects. Who knows if they did an amnio or other tests. Secondly the statistical chances that the mother will even be around to raise her child to semi-adulthood (say 16-18) are not high either.

Still, if true this kind of story just shows how amazing the human body really is.

I'm 43 and I have a 5 and 3yr old...I can barely keep up with them. I'll be 60 when the boy is 20....I'll be the old man for sure.

I've already been mistaken for grandpa (IMG:http://www.914world.com/bbs2/html/emoticons/dry.gif)

Full head of gray hair doesn't help I guess...

One advantage to her age is she can take the baby for a walk in the stroller, and breast feed at the same time... (IMG:http://www.914world.com/bbs2/html/emoticons/huh.gif) ... (IMG:http://www.914world.com/bbs2/html/emoticons/blink.gif) ... (IMG:http://www.914world.com/bbs2/html/emoticons/icon8.gif)
