I need to replace the trottle cable. How does this thing route from the engine compartment to the gas pedal? My Haynes manual is lacking any real information besides how to remove the pedal board.
Thanks, Alex |

To Remove The Pedal Board:
1. Remove the screw to the left of the clutch pedal. Remove the screw to the right of the gas pedal. 2. Pull the gas pedal towards the rear of the car until it pops off the linkage. Don't be shy, just pull. 3. Push the clutch pedal toward the front of the car and maneuver the pedal board over the clutch pedal. 4. Maneuver the pedal board over the brake pedal. This is hard the first few times you do it. |

Is there a good way to grab the cable to unscrew it from the pedal cluster? Is it like a tiny 4 mm wrench size?

did you remove the access cover on the front of the tunnel? fig 4.9 p.71. there's a little clevis(?) clip you have to pop off then the end of the piece that screws on the front cable should pop off.
