There are three wires that attach to the fresh air controls - in the front dashboard.

Looks like white / green , white / yellow, and white / ?? (looks like just white wire).

There are three spades they plug on (call the one towards the back of the car #1, #2 in the middle, and #3 towards the very front of the car.

Which wire goes to which connection????

If you look at this ebay auction (for the switch) you'll see the three connections I am talking about.

As you numbered them in your post,

1 = White/yellow, towards rear of the car
2 = White/ Green, middle
3 = White, towards front

Haynes manual and current flow diagram says: C - white/yellow (medium speed) in the middle. B - White/green rear(slow speed) to the rear. D - White (fast speed) to the front.
