Pretty cool. The site says the '74 was offered with a standard vinyl covered roll bar which had been an option on previous years. (IMG:style_emoticons/default/confused24.gif)

No they meant 74 for the Targa bar vinyl. In 73 it was still part of the optional appearance group and not all 1.7 cars came with as a result. The 73 2.0L cars of course all came with it.

In 74-76 Targa bar vinyl was standard equipmenet on all 914 cars.
