Hi guys, I got a couple of questions.
First off, I am fairly new to 914s so I am not sure if this is normal.

1. I have a '74 with 2.0L fuel injected. I would say the car is well tuned as it starts instantly upon seeing the key in my hand, and it runs great. However, It is (in my opinion) a pig on gas. I don't think I am getting better tha 15 or 18 miles to the gallon combined driving street and highway. Is this normal?

2. After it's up to temperature it will not idle and it will stall. Some times it will not restart till the next day. Last time it stalled I thought it was out of gas, because that is how it behaved. I would turn the key, it would start instantly run for a second and stall again.
This is keeping me from driving and enjoying the car.

Any suggestions? All input is greatly appreciated.
Bill.
