PCA has announced the 2015 Porsche Parade will be held in French Lik; the dates have NOT been announced yet.

I'm not sure I'll be attending, but a World member from Asia is. In his behalf I'd like to ask someone familiar with the area some questions to help our friend.

Is a French Lik anything like a rub & tug? (IMG:style_emoticons/default/piratenanner.gif)

Next year's Parade will be held on June 21st till the 27th. Usually the Concours is held on the Monday of Parade week, and the autocross is on Wednesday and Thursday.

We recently had a driving tour to French Lick, and it is a very pretty, wooded area with lots of nice country roads. Not much of a town, but the French Lick Resort is nice and there is a sister resort with a casino for those that gamble. It should be a much smaller Parade than this year's in Monterey, but should be fun.

In 2016, the Parade was announced to be at Jay Peak, Vt. I don't think dates were announced, but that should give the east coast folks a chance to attend.

BTW, 914s are certainly getting their due these days at the PCA events!

Been to French Lick once, driving an Audi RS6, something with a bit more power than I am used to in my 1.7 (IMG:style_emoticons/default/biggrin.gif) That car let me easily dispatch any doddering Toyota Prissys or touristy minivans with ease on two lane roads....my 85HP....I'm not so sure (IMG:style_emoticons/default/lol-2.gif)

As had been said previously, nice roads, and a pretty resort. Louisville is not tooo far away iffen you want to visit a decent metropolis, but a Parade usually has enough going on that there is plenty to keep you focused on things PORSCHE.

Yes indeed. I have not flown out of Looieville, but to read the Cincinnati newspaper and national travel magazines, the air fares in/out of the Louisville airport are reasonable.

Louisville is 90 minutes away from French Lick, so it's probably the best place to fly into if you're not driving your car.
