Long story short, I had the transmission out of my track car and put in new intermediate plate seal and tail cone seal. Now that I have everything buttoned up in the car there is a tranny fluid leak as pictured below. I have a track day Thursday--- any chance things will seal up better after inver some heat in it? If not, any tips to seal better if a new gasket doesn't do the trick vehicle it clearly isn't)?

Is the tail cone even seated all the way onto the intermediate plate??

Yes, the photo makes it looks like there is a big gap that really isn't there
