Hi All,

One of my SSI heat exchangers was bent a few years back in a minor accident. The rear flange needs to be straighten an re-welded. The pipes may be tweaked a tad at the exhaust port side too. I'll need to look at that again.

Does anyone do that kind of work here?

Thanks!

Randy

Ummm, McMark can weld SS so I would think he could help you.
I'm pretty sure he works on 914's too. (IMG:style_emoticons/default/beer.gif)

You mean that SHMUCK over at Original Customs? Man, but that's like a HALF HOUR from where I live. I don't know if he's close enough.

I'll drop him a line. Thanks!

You could always take them to SSI, they're in your neck of the woods ...

Maybe now is a good time to ask John if he wants to sell me his m471?

Yeah! I wonder what he did with that. His home had a small garage and he already had his Boxter and wagon (IIRC) there. Maybe he sold it or its in storage.

Let us know what you find out if you end up calling.

Hey Randy! Call Johnny Franklin's in Santa Rosa. They have done some exhaust work for me in the past and have always done good work.
