Lots of parts value there..... (certainly not $30k worth)

If it truly has an original 914-6 motor it may be worth buying the car (based on 914-6 values) just to get the engine. There are lots of other parts to sell off...

This car was at the last Hershey swap meet, so I got to look it over in person. The conversion to a six was done well, but the bodywork is not my cup of tea.

I like the color, but the roofline sucks, and the louvers on the back may interfere with cooling air.

It looks well done. Has a /6 so has some credibility.

If it wasn't a 914, it looks ok.

All that work... (IMG:style_emoticons/default/blink.gif)

No, it isn't right to scavenge the parts. Yes, the damage is done, but if it was done with craftsmanship it would be best to find someone who likes that sort of thing. Seems more suitable for a hopeless 4 as a scaffold and maybe a V8 or subie though. But that ship has sailed.

Removing the Camaro louvers and huge wing would go a long way in improving the looks of this car.

...to each his own, but yeah, the wing on the back is a bit much.
but now that you pointed out those poles, I need to know!!

The car is about 3 miles from my office, might need to stop by just to ask that (IMG:style_emoticons/default/flag.gif)

He's a great guy.
Did it all himself.
Track junkie. Driving instructor.
Runs, as chief instructor many NNJR driving events.
Has a very fast, very modified, early 911 race car.
And doesn't mind expressing talent and individuality.
Not for me either but....a car like this can be very appealing to someone, maybe more than you think.
You have to put it out there to find out.
