Parting out a 1971 Porsche 914 with 63K + Miles. You can buy the Whole Lot (Car Runs and Drives) for $1900 or I can Remove and Ship Parts as requested (Shipping and Packing will be extra). Also Can Deliver parts to Southern NH (Also Southern Maine), Western, MA, CT, RI, Southeast MA (Usually Travel 1 day per week). Whole Car is NOT a basket case - some rust repair needs to be done in the usual places. Motor is a 1.7 Litre (Runs Very Well) with a 5 Speed Tail Shift Tranny (Front Linkage Is Sticky but all gears work).
Most systems and components work (Lights, Fuel Delivery, etc..).
Let me know what you need.

Yes - I have the Reflectors (2 of them) - Unfortunately, only one of them has the Body Seal (only one so far - will keep looking through the boxes that came with the car) - My car was someone else's project and i still need to sort through some things - will keep you posted.

I will be answering all PMs and questions over the next few days. I spent some more time today safely taking things apart and packaging all fasteners / nuts and bolts to go with all items. I also have a lot of the plastic plugs (usually always get lost) and such in a safe place.
I also Painted a deck and did a bunch of house stuff today - I will reply.

I am also checking into shipping prices on several of the items including the Chrome bumper, etc..

By the way, if you would please get me your Zip Code when requesting parts, that would help.

Thanks

p.s.: I am having a ball learning about these cars (Previous 944 Owner - Stepping into the Air Cooled World). A lot of the previous tech articles by you guys really helps!!!!

Bumper Photos Posted - I only spent a few minutes with a buffing wheel and they will clean up Nicely.
They include the Bolts and the Rubber Dog Bones (Missing 2 upper bolts for front bumper though - Previous Owner Did not have them).
They are straight and true with a few NERFS in them - Very presentable and could be made perfect with a little work.

I would put them on my next car.

Steering Wheel Photos Posted - It is original to the car as i believe that from viewing photos of 1973 cars on they changed the wrap design.
This wheel does not have a Shoe Lace Wrapped cover and the Original Leather is very good. I tried to show photos of the Part Numbers as I believe that the Early steering wheels will not fit Later Cars. The Nut size upon removal was 27 mm.

I would rather sell the set with the wheel and the Horn Button. The Horn button did work prior to removal.

It's a later wheel. '72 or later. 71 has a flat face on the hub. I doubt your car is a '71, at least many pRts are from a later car.

The Serial Number on the Car is as follows: 4722916102 Please tell me how to find out what year I have. I agree that the car that I bought may be a hybrid of years but I am doing my best to properly get photos of Part Numbers so that I do not sell someone something that will not fit their car.
The last thing I want to do is frustrate a fellow member with a part that is incorrect or does not fit properly.

If you could get back to me with your expertise and research - I would really appreciate your input, experience and knowledge.

Sincerely,
JMINK
