What would you guys pay for a 74 LE Bumbebee. Fully documented, restored, 65k miles, with a COA?

Deputy, you're way overthinking this.
Find a good 914, not the "best one out there". Drive it, fiddle with it, learn to live with it. Sell it later, or not, if you like. If you don't trash it, it will likely be worth at least what you paid for it. And in the meantime, you've gotten to drive a fun little two-seater go-kart on the street. --DD |

Unfortunately I can't find a middle ground on these cars... I know I want a 73-74, 2 liter. For both performance and resale. And from what I've seen so far, they're either total POS rusty project cars, or if they're even remotely decent the sellers want inflated prices. If I could find a "decent", "good enough" one with a clear title that is mechanically sound... I'd buy it tomorrow. However, I'm seeing cars that are no where near original, with issues, for $18k and up. I do appreciate all the advice and tips from everyone on here. This is a great community! |
