My '74 2.0 came with an extra MPS. It's Bosch part number is 0280100003. VW number is 022906051. Can I use this MPS on my '73 or '74 2.0? Or is it for a different 914 or VW and not usable for a 2.0 914?

Brad Anders FI page has a table that tells you what goes with what. Check it out.

No, its for a very early 1.7l car. Sell it to the 1.7l guy that was looking for one. Test it for vacuum first.

Hmmm....Brad's page only lists a 005 or 007 for early 1.7l cars. Mine's a 003. Anyone know what car this MPS is from? Must be from a VW?

My early 70 car that I junked had a 003 in it sooo I would say it was from a early 70 car even 411 as they had the same motor.
