When getting my 1970 out of first gear it's tight but real nice in all the other gears,had a recon box fitted a little while back with all new bushing's it just seem's to pinch a little getting out of first

What did they do to they do to the box to recondition it? New 1st bands tend to be very stiff. The new ones are a bit crappy. Also, a new slider is sometimes a contributor as the inner dia is tighter. Did they measure the dia of the installed synchro band (if you got one). Also, alignment is key.
