I can just call pelican and they will order it up for me? The cable is just too short for the V8. If anyone has pics of their v8 throttle setup I would be interested. Mine works OK, its just not as good as it could be. Thanks Mark |

How did you run your cable?
I think a better way to run the cable is to the front of the engine with the cable coming across the front of the engine. (stock 914 cable) Then you use a bellcrank set up to change the motion to go from front to rear. This is also good because the throw of the 914 throttle is not enough or just barely enough to open most 4 bbl carbs all the way. With a bellcrank you could adjust the distance from the pivot point to get WOT with the 914 pedal. They sell a bellcrank setup in the Jegs catalog, its with the carbs. No, I haven't done this, but if I knew about it it would have saved me a big PITA and would proboably work better than the Terry cable set up I have. George |
