I just got a brand new one and I don't know exactly how it mounts because the car didn't have one when I got it. A picture would help alot. Seems pretty evident that it slips on to the lower lip of the front targa but it's also too long, is it normal to have to trim these to fit? I also replaced the windshield frame seal and maybe because these are new they don't seem to fit together very well (too thick). Anyone have a close up picture?

I had to trim the one I just put in. I'll take a picture when I head back out into the shop.

Mine could be 1.5" too long on both sides. Shoot me a couple of pics when you can. Thanks!

There are two
The "C" shaped one that goes down the pillars and across the top of the windshield frame. The straight one that fits below it and only goes across the top of the windshield frame, below the "C" shaped one. |

Thanks Cloudbuster, I was trying to install the lower one onto the targa top itself, your picture is a huge help!
