Finally getting around to a newbie intro post, some pics of the car, and a WTB reference to the FS/WTB section of this website.

I recently (within the last year) acquired a 1972 1.7L Ivory car from a 68 yr old gent who bought this car 12 months old (in 1973) out of Portland. Kept it in the high desert of Oregon, and Sacramento for 40 yrs, and now I'm running it between Central Oregon and the Bay Area. I have used it as a daily driver this past year, in sun, rain & even a snow storm (amazing how well this mid-engine, rear drive performs when newer FWD cars are in the ditch). I decided to go with Drevil's tranny PNW clinic (thx, it was awesome), and then went all side-shift. Rhodyguy hooked me up with most of the parts needed, but I am lacking in the outboard mounting bracket of the late model engine bracket.

The WTB post is in the proper locale, which you can view here:

Here is the pic of the part I need:

Do you have a pair I can buy?

Here are some more pics of the car, before the side shift conversion.

I'll be sure and post some pics of the after conversion look! (IMG:style_emoticons/default/smile.gif)

We make our own as needed - from sections of 1 1/4" x 1 1/4" square tubing.
