I am trying to cut a deal on a whole stash of Type IV engine parts, enough to absolutely fill a large U haul truck!

The shipping expense is impeding my progress with the purchase and I just wondered if any body out there that has plenty of time on their hands would like to make some bucks hauling some junk here to aircooled heaven to be "modified"...

It would have to be done sometime soon, like within the next month..

If anyone is interested, let me know!

Am I crazy??

If I can get the approval of my boss (girlfriend) I could do it. I am currently unemployed and need the money. So how much are we talking about? (IMG:http://www.914world.com/bbs2/html/emoticons/idea.gif) Oh ya, where in CA?

Sounds like someting I'd do. (IMG:http://www.914world.com/bbs2/html/emoticons/wink.gif) (IMG:http://www.914world.com/bbs2/html/emoticons/biggrin.gif)

All I'd have to do is get to CA first and then to Georgia. (IMG:http://www.914world.com/bbs2/html/emoticons/cool.gif)

How much weight we talking about? You would need a heavy enough tow veichle to handle any real weight?

Why not have the parts strapped to pallets or in a crate layered and have them shipped by truck? Two crates?

What would forward air charge for the lot? If anything I could facilitate the shipping if that were more economical. I deffinetly would be into this though (Back off Toast, I got dibs and you have a job (IMG:http://www.914world.com/bbs2/html/emoticons/tongue.gif) )

Mike, you would just be losing another $50 on a woman, and this time with no service. Don't you get tired of that (IMG:http://www.914world.com/bbs2/html/emoticons/wink.gif)

As long as the amount doesn't require the use of a vehicle that would require a special licence, then I am your man. I have driven bob tails and such before. I have also driven from eastern PA to San Diego in 3 days using a truck with a govenor that wouldn't allow me over 65. No eat, no sleep, and you get the parts fast. So, when?

Toast,
If, and I mean if, then I am Smokey.

How about BJ and the bear, you can be the chimp (IMG:http://www.914world.com/bbs2/html/emoticons/monkeydance.gif)

I would be glad to. I have an interview in PA this Mon and I will be getting back on the 1st of Feb. Any time after that should be just fine. Hell, if we need to we can do two truck loads and have two drivers, but I don't know about the cost. I just told the girlfriend that I was doing this (she will get over it) so I am definetly in.
