I've gotten some good feedback on pricing and decided that $12,000 is a good fair price for the car. Would like to sell before I have to play Tetris with my garage for the winter.

After 13 years of garaged slumber and occasional driving it's finally time to say goodbye to my wonderful little 914.

Mostly original 2.0 Liter in Signal Orange.

Very good condition drivers quality car with 106,775 miles.

As far as I know I'm the 4th owner.
I have the manual, red key and some receipts from the original owner.

This car is relatively rust free, a bit of surface rust in the rear trunk, and the battery tray, but nothing is mushy. The car was repainted once, about a year after I got it, I was rear ended at about 20 mph, not bad but enough to bend the metal under the trunk lid and the lid itself, since it had 27 years of door dings, scratches rock chips etc, I went for it. Had the car disassembled by Ed, the local 914 expert, bodywork paid for by insurance, new rubber kit, and put back together by good old Ed. Of course I kept it in Signal Orange by Glassaurit. Ed also did a partial engine rebuild, and rebuilt the FI when I first got it. Ed has retired and since then I've taken it Concourse Auto Werks a local Porsche shop, Bob, the owner says it's the best 914 in Utah he's seen. He just put in a new fuel pump for me last year and replaced the fuel lines with braided SS.

What else is not original you ask? Radio - there was already some silly tape deck in the dash circa 1980 something so I put a CD player I already had in it's place. Wheels - The Pedrinis that were on it were shot, so I got these American Eagles that I thought were pretty neat. New windshield, aside from that she's just like God made her.

The windshield washers don't work, haven't since I bought it, the lines are cracked which was hilarious when I first hooked them up to the spare and the fluid all came out of the bottom of the dash onto the floor. Ed said don't bother - too much trouble to take that dash apart so I didn't. Also the dash pad is cracked.

It's a great car, solid, reliable, fun and increasingly rare.
From what I've seen $16,000 is a fair price, but I'm open to offers.
Let me know what you think I'm happy to take more pictures, give more background etc.

Nice car.

Do all the signal orange cars have brown interior?

I have yet to see an original one in black.

Nice looking car, it sure does look like it was hit a bit in the drivers side front bumper.

Price lowered to $12,000 - to be clear my original price was based on my incomplete knowledge of the market, I've had the car for a long time and didn't know where they were at nowadays. I'm certainly not trying to make a mint on the car, I just don't want to kick myself later or feel taken advantage of. I think $12K is a good deal all the way around. I'd like to sell before I have to put it back into storage but if I don't sell in the next few weeks it's back to hibernation for the foreseeable future. Thanks to those that have helped me with advice and comments.
