hi,

took the starter to oriellys and to auto zone and both said that the

starter could not be tested in their tester. the tester machine stated that

the starter could only be tested while installed in the car.

the starter is a Bosch VW 003 911 023 A

not sure what starter to buy if that is what I need to do.

any and all assistance is appreciated.

would like to know the status of the starter before I upload the engine back into

the car.

tks

randal
