Anybody know of a local store near San Ramon where I could find some electrical terminal boots? I've got my Bosch 69133 fuel pump installed and was just looking for something to put over the terminals.

/rant
Was hoping I could find something local, but these days there just seems to be nothing at a local hardware store that I can even find to adapt to the situation. I guess I'm just tired of paying $4.95 to ship this and $4.95 to ship that. I should be buying FedEx and UPS stock like there is no tomorrow.

I miss the good old days when hardware stores seemed to carry more of every possible odd item on the planet. But i digress....

Radio shack or most any electrical/electronics store will have various sizes of alligator clip boots that would work great if you are not interested in looking original.

Good Luck .............. I spent the better of four hours looking for them on the internet. No such luck. I tried all the electrical supply stores. Stopped at the alternator/generator rebuild shop. Still no go.

I have 5 pair coming for $57. Got tired of wasting my time.

There's a bunch of these on ebay in various sizes & shapes (straight & pipe shape) - mostly described as "soft plastic" and many from China/Hong Kong.

Thanks for all the replies. I forgot about RadioShack. Not looking for anything original looking.

There's always just plain old electrical tape.

boxsterfan,
You know you can just get fully insulated female spade terminals for the pumps that have spade terminals. If the terminals are post and nut, just buy an inexpensive set of electrical jumpers, cut one of the alligator clips off, and slide the rubber boot off and use it. You may need to cut/modify it to fit as you like, but still fairly inexpensive. I know radio shack used to carry jumpers.

Try APD Appliance Repair on Dublin Blvd.
They have almost everything in their back room.
