I recently changed my alternator. Started up the car and everything ran fine. I went back to make sure all the nuts and bolts were tightened properly and accidentally dropped a box wrench. Unfortunately, it hit a ground point and a main 12v line in just the wrong place and shorted for a millisecond. Now when I try to start the car, the starter solenoid clicks once then nothing. I made sure all of my connections are good and the battery is charged but still nothing. Any ideas?

Check all grounds and the positive wire from the starter to the battery.
