Would one of the newer engines fit in a 914? Are they the same basic block or is everything different?

I've ridden in Bob's three liter Suby , he still will not let me drive it????, it's fast strong, plenty of revs and sounds great.. About 215 hp and hits that sweet spot, plenty of power but not scarily fast....
Motors are available and inexpensive, fit great , and tranny has multiple options...if I had it to do over , I would have gone with the six... |
