I still have the sideshift transmission available. FS: I have 2 transmissions, both from non-running cars so I do not know any history on them, consider them cores?. A late 1969 tailshift transmission and a 1973 side shift transmission. They both do include the speedo adapters as well. $175 $150 each. I really do not have a way to ship these so they need to be picked up in Noblesville, IN near Indianapolis. PM or contact me direct at tdegenko@gmail.com

Don't toss them yet. I'll be in Indy the last week of this month. Thinking about the tailshifter as a spare. I'll let you know...

Sorry, was out of town all last week. Heading to Indy (downtown) tomorrow afternoon, I'll be there thru Wednesday afternoon. You still have the tailshifter?
I can give you a call Sunday evening to set something up.

Shipping a trans is not bad. I use a plastic box you can buy at Lowes or Home Depot for $12. You need to put a block of wood under the small end of the trans so it does not rest on the shift console. Weights about 90 lbs. Fed Ex shipping cost $50-$90 depending on how far I was shipping from CA.

I'd take the sideshift if I had the spare cash this month.....I'm right down the road in Fishers! I'll check in with you in a couple of weeks and see if you still have it. Jon

Would you pick it up for me and ship it for me? (IMG:style_emoticons/default/chowtime.gif)

If you want to work out a payment deal with the seller, I'll pick up the tranny and
figure out how to ship it to you. It may take me a bit of time to get shipping materials together. Maybe Bruce Stone can give me more info on that plastic box idea he uses?
Why don't you send me a PM and we can discuss the tranny shipping further. Jon

Bruce - are you talking about a plastic storage box? I see some listed at Lowe's website but I'm not sure what size would fit a trans or what type of lid would work. Any hints on what you have used to ship a trans? Thx - Jon
