Based on the fan sticker, the engine will be a '68.
911L = 130 HP flat six 911S = 160 HP flat six Doubtful it is a 911S. |

These were only for USA market. what was done to "de-tune " them? if the cams are the same, then what would it take to "ret-tune" them back up to potential? |

I believe the S motors had different pistons, cams, heads and mechanical fuel injection.

I believe the S motors had different pistons, cams, heads and mechanical fuel injection. The 68' 911S came with Weber 40 IDS carbs, Mechanic fuel injection wasn't introduced until 69'. Since the 911S was not officially imported to the U.S. in 1968, an S engine from 1968 would be a rare find. |

That is how I understand it as well, I actually have an MFI car which will take some of the sting out of this sale. It's a great starting point as it's all there, and it's an original signal orange car to boot. there is no rust in the boot, bonnet or tub. about 4k for body and paint and a thorough detail and it will be a solid performer. I will also consider this for a partial trade towards a 60 or 61 C 182.

Here you go guys all the pics. I'm getting a quote for the rust repair in the morning, can't do it myself (recovering from back surgery) so I can't say how long I'm going to stay in the selling mood.
