Does this look familiar to anyone?

I had my tank lined at a local shop. When I was leaving, the owner said he had another Porsche tank that was lined by him, but was then left, years ago, in his shop.

A little help please? Is this really a Porsche tank? Yea or nay, which specific car?

Thanks and again, sorry for OT.

Take it.
It's an early A series 356 tank.

Date stamp is 4/59. I bought it. Don't know what it's worth, but I bought it.

Thanks for the advice!

Inquiring minds want to know how much you bought it for and what's it worth?

I would call the guys at Stoddard and get their opinion. They may know someone in need of that tank. Could bring some big bucks.

Clean it up nicely and shoot some good pictures. You shouldn't have any trouble selling that for some good money ...

I paid $50 for it. Looks like $350 - $450 is the going rate, so that's a decent investment.

You know where that money's going. Brake lines, fuel lines, and master cylinder.

Easy come, easy go...

Put it on the bay a couple of days ago with a Buy It Now of $499 with best offer turned on.

Sold for $400 for $50 shipping. Not too shabby.
