Bought this engine off eBay and was told it had 80k and ran. Owner was doing an electric conversion.
Saw the car it was clean, motor was complete. I took off the FI and sold it. Had the tin powder coated semi gloss black. Had the fan housing stripped and painted it a dark silver grey. Bought a set of Webers for it. I had a flywheel surfaced for it and I think I have a clutch cover and disk, can't remember so if so great if no clutch oh well. Bought a gasket set to reseal what I could without getting too far into the engine. Then I stopped because I picked up a fresh engine. So this one is for sale as it sits, tin is off, comes with the Webers and gaskets. I was told it ran well, I have not done a leak down and don't have the equipment to run one. $1200 as is plus shipping from the San Jose CA area. Not real interested in shipping, prefer local sale. No pictures, we all know what a used engine looks like. It is in the back of my shop so they would not turn out anyway. |
