My 914 has blue plates, but I have a '71 BMW 2002 with the white sunburst plate, so I'll probably sign it up for blue plates. But the blue plates don't look like they stand much of a chance of qualifying ... supposedly they have less than 2,000 pre-orders and will need a mad rush in the last two months to reach the 7,500 minimum. Same goes for the yellow plates.

I paid my $50 the same week DMV started this program. I just hope they reach the threshold amount of plates to actually make them.

Been rocking the blue plate since '79 on the forbidden car.

The counts are good for the black plates...but sadly lacking for the others... They'll only do a run if the quota count hits...
