Putting out a feeler before I put them on my car...

Brand new, in box, Porterfield R4-1 rear brake pads for a 914-4. Not to be confused with the R4. This is an autocross style pad with high friction levels at low heat.

From Porterfield:

"Developed using knowledge testing in the vintage racing community. Optimum uses for the R4-1: Conditions where very high friction is needed with minimal warm up time and in applications where there is difficulty in maintaining sufficient heat with conventional race pad compounds. Widely used on vintage GT and formula cars, the R4-1 brake pad is also gaining popularity in off-road and rally-cross classes. Great modulation, consistent pedal feedback and rotor friendly at all temperatures. Fast becoming the most popular Autocross brake pad our customers are using."

I'll get some pictures tonight if there is any interest.

$75 + shipping.

Great pads. We ran them at Sebring for 10 hours and barely noticed any wear. Easy on the rotors too, and they stop like a SOB (we have them all the way around).

I was hoping to get a matched set of Raybestos ST-43's for the rear (as that's what I'm running up front) and except for the dust they are amazing. I may throw these on as I'm only hearing good things about them.
