Were plaid seats available in '71 914s? What about '72 914s? Any help as to interior color and material options for these two years cars would be appreciated.

Thanks. If anyone has '71 that would be great. It looks like I am out of luck on plaid for either of the cars I am restoring. Bummer. My silver '72 could really use some color to help it pop.

This is from 1970, but I think it was the same for 1971:

Agreed. We saw a Silver '76 with red tartan seats. Looked good. I think well go plaid even though it wasn't an option in '72.
