I agree, ad needs a lot more pictures. No idea what the front looks like or the condition of the trunks & hell hole. Looks like a lot of work went into the conversion & one has to wonder why not a 350 cubic inch V8 instead of the 4.3 litre? They're practically the same size engine & well built 350's are more than plentiful.

One generic question I have that you might be able to advise on is about fibreglass arches rather than steel... pros and cons and implications? Fiberglass tends to crack rather than bend. It is not as resilient to light impacts, and can break where a steel flare would either bounce back or have a small dent that can be pounded out. Many installers don't seem to know how to properly bond glass to metal, so a lot of glass flares will crack where they attach to the stock fender. It sometimes takes years for these to show up. Other people seem to be able to fasten them on with no cracking. I don't know what the secret is. --DD |
