It started the day I got it home but ran outa gas. I put gas in it and now all it does is turn and turn. Ive never had a carbd car without a choke and this dint have one I dont think. Is there a trick to starting them ?

Can you hear the fuel pump running? If so pull the air cleaner and see if the accel pump squirts fuel when you open the throttle. If that works, pump it a few times and hold the throttle about 1/4 down and crank. That's how my carb'ed 1.7 likes to start. If you're not getting fuel out of the accel pump you need to fix that first… Good luck
