If you're cooking with a skillet and using a metal fork to stir around the contents and you leave it leaning on the edge of the pan don't pick it up and stick it in your mouth. (IMG:http://www.914world.com/bbs2/html/emoticons/ohmy.gif)

If that was a non-stick skillet you get a slap on the hand for using a metal fork in it. My wife still can't get that one.

Cooking tip #159 - Don't leave any utinsil on the the side of a hot pan, metal heats up, plasic melts, and wooden spoons catch on fire. That's why the make those little utinsil resting thingies.

Tip #161, When you take your All metal pan out of the oven, the handle will still be hot after sitting on the counter for a minute. Still have problems with this one.

Ouch!

Growing up, a friend of mine used to loudly quote this all the time...

something like "Third law of thermodynamics - Heat Loss Equals Heat Gain." (IMG:http://www.914world.com/bbs2/html/emoticons/biggrin.gif)

Even today, I think of that quote everytime I burn myself. (IMG:http://www.914world.com/bbs2/html/emoticons/laugh.gif)

tip #420 ganja butter

double boil 1 lb of butter.

grind up an 1/8th - 1/4 oz of fine cheeba & put in butter

tricky part; if you DON'T want the ganja in the butter, double boil for 90 min & strain butter thru cheese cloth. let cool in refer (IMG:http://www.914world.com/bbs2/html/emoticons/biggrin.gif)

if you dont mind herbs in your teeth, boil only 40 mins. let cool in refer (IMG:http://www.914world.com/bbs2/html/emoticons/biggrin.gif)

you can use the butter on/in anything... (IMG:http://www.914world.com/bbs2/html/emoticons/smoke.gif)

The FIRST thing you learn in chemistry is that pyrex, and glass look just about the same hot, as they do cold, until they are about to melt..

15 minutes later, there is a passion play based on that lesson, and some dweeb has no discernable markings on the palm of one hand for the rest of their lives..

(IMG:http://www.914world.com/bbs2/html/emoticons/smile.gif)

So, I guess now we can call you "Fork Tongued Devil"?
