The gear outline resembles the old one; that probably gives off the vibe too.

The gear outline can be anything. I personally like the more familiar gears with more shorter teeth.

They show these as magnetic. Wouldn't it be too easy to steal?

The design we are working with is actually mechanically attached, so theft should not be an issue.

In badge form:

This one has my vote. We'll thought out, simple... a bit evocative of the old badge, but in a good way. (History is a good thing. Don't try to rewrite it. Embrace it!!)

As it's been said already, it's just a copy of the 914 club design. I have one of those. It's been on my car for years ... I really like it but I don't need to put a second one on my car. The other thing that bothers me about that design: is there a good reason to have "914" twice on the badge?

How would this one look with the outer ring in black? This design is a good direction, imho.

(IMG:style_emoticons/default/smilie_pokal.gif) This looks great!

For some reason, I think a blue car would look even better.
