Can I get some advice on SOP for cleaning up my oil reservoir on my 6? Boiling in water? Blasting cabnet? Is powder coating OK or prime & paint. (IMG:style_emoticons/default/confused24.gif)

NO BLASTING, EVER!!!! You'll NEVER get all the media out of the tank, and it'll never reach everywhere inside. Have it tanked at your friendly local radiator shop. I usually follow the cleaning with a nice coat of POR-15. Don't paint the hose fittings or under the console where the o-ring goes.

Nothing to add to this advice; absolutely correct.
Looks like there is most of the copper plating intact; keep it that way.
