Anyone leaving around that time in the area ?
Other side of the hills but same ETD.
I have a room reservation for Wed evening, but not sure exactly what time I'll be on the road (IMG:style_emoticons/default/confused24.gif) ... plus I'll probably be in the Westy, so I'll be driving S L O W (IMG:style_emoticons/default/dry.gif)

The LV "Hangover" Caravan for out-of-staters on Thursday.

Meet, eat, then depart Mountain Top Cafe @ 1:00pm. Then (IMG:style_emoticons/default/driving.gif) Angeles Nat Forest. Possible second meet & gas up in Valencia (Santa Clarita) around 2:30pm. Then what Mike D. said (IMG:style_emoticons/default/beer.gif)
San Simeon about 9, or just in time for more drinking (IMG:style_emoticons/default/biggrin.gif)

Times subject to adjustment depending upon participants. PM me if you want in.

Are you sure you guys don't want to cut over on the 126 to Ventura and then up the coast side?

That sounds like a good option for us landlocked mountain dwellers. The more ocean views I get the better I'm thinkin'. But others here know the roads better and that's what it really comes down to- IT'S ALL ABOUT THE ROADS!! (IMG:style_emoticons/default/aktion035.gif)

PMB is cutting it close on getting my car done in time for the rally..... Here's hoping I have a 914 to bring to the rally.

If yours isn't done Jim. You are driving my 914 for at least one of the tours. Your wife can ride along & I'll hop in a spare passenger seat. That is assuming I don't fuch it up again before you get the chance (IMG:style_emoticons/default/confused24.gif)

I'm not married to it. So far only Me and Mike (mgp4591) are known to be coming from Vegas/the South East. I can drive this route home, I have to stop in Pasadena anyways. If there is more interest in a coastal route then as long as the time frame works.
Taking Pearblossom instead of Angeles Mtns cut an hour from the drive if an earlier depart time is needed.

This event will be a blast / and as a former employer of many, the orginazation required to pull if off is a tremendous (IMG:style_emoticons/default/flag.gif) effort. Special thanks to the org.

I am driving up Thursday and my lovely wife is following in her SUV (custom 914 tow bar install tow truck) on Friday. (IMG:style_emoticons/default/beerchug.gif)

Of course Larmo63 will be strutting around the grounds with his newly installed thru-hood gas cap assembly ( completed in my shop in Laguna) and well done in one session to-boot. the hole saw is headed for my hood soon.............

See you all there. (IMG:style_emoticons/default/flag.gif)

I screwed up and landed to many jobs, and now cannot get away next thursday or friday, so I am going to miss this WCR.

Second room is available, I will cancel my reservation Sunday.

CARAVANS - I think I have a group for some fun roads on the way up from Santa Clarita or the Valley.
10am at The Coffee Bean & Tea Leaf 28291 Newhall Ranch Rd, Valencia, CA 91355
Let me know if you want to join, we'll be going through Pine Mountain to Blue Star Memorial Hwy to Hwy46, James Dean memorial, etc.

I will see you there with a clean windshield and a full tank of gas. (IMG:style_emoticons/default/coffee.gif)
